Short Bio

Fingerstyle folk, soul with swagger — music for anyone who refuses to fit in.
Brighton-based singer-songwriter Seany describes his sound as Fly Folk — intimate, fingerstyle guitar and vocals weaving together folk, soul and pop, delivered with groove and an observational, wry eye for the human condition. Also known for reimagining cover songs in his own voice, he creates music that feels timeless, soulful and unmistakably present.

Current Release
On July 11th, 2025, Seany Clarke released his album Think I’ve Said Too Much — an acoustic, groove-led collection pairing introspective songwriting with subtle, tongue-in-cheek twists. Blending indie-soul with alternative sensibility, the record explores the emotional messiness of modern life with sincerity, warmth and quiet humour.
Written, recorded, produced, arranged and mixed entirely by Clarke in Brighton, he also designed the album artwork himself, reflecting his deeply hands-on and personal approach to music-making.
The album was introduced through a run of evocative singles including Don’t You Care Anymore?, See It in Your Smile, Desperate Dan and Jealousy’s a Moaner (Say Sam), each revealing a different shade of the record’s emotional landscape.
This follows his 2023 album First Aid Kit and a growing catalogue of work exploring themes from equality and human connection to modern anxieties and everyday emotional truths.
